Service Description

The assessment explores a child’s learning profile, including underlying abilities, cognitive processing, and literacy skills. Sessions are carried out carefully and sensitively, with time taken to help your child feel at ease. Practical details • Suitable for children and young people aged 8–17 • Assessment sessions typically take place in school or at home over 3–4 hours • A full written report is provided within three weeks Reports are written in line with current SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC) guidelines.
